Destroyer USS Sampson Transits Taiwan Strait Again

According to Voice of America, April 27, the USS Sampson, an Arleigh Burke-class of guided-missile destroyer, crossed the Taiwan Strait on April 26th. The U.S. military said it was a routine activity following the international law. A statement from the Seventh Fleet said that Sampson's passage through the Taiwan Strait demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific region, where U.S. forces fly, sail and conduct missions wherever international law allows.
