On June 24 local time, H&M closed its flagship shop in downtown Shanghai. Earlier this month, the H&M flagship shop opened for business after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime declared an end to the Shanghai lockdown, opening up some commercial activities one after another. However, H&M’s three-story building in the city center has now been sealed and the sign has been removed.

It is reported that H&M, the world’s second largest fast-fashion retailer, entered Communist China in 2007 and expanded rapidly. 2021, H&M expressed concerns about forced labor in Xinjiang in an open letter released and refused to purchase Xinjiang cotton as a raw material for production. H&M was subsequently attacked by CCP’s young brainwashed nationalists across the internet and the H&M online shop was taken down from all major e-commerce platforms in Communist China.
