President Donald Trump delivers his final White House address to the nation on Jan 19, 2021.
He says: “the movement we started is only just beginning.”

President Trump stated that “no nation can long thrive that loses faith in its own values, history, and heroes, for these are the very sources of our unity and our vitality.”

President Trump says: “I took on the tough battles, the hardest fights, the most difficult choices because that’s what you elected me to do,”

President Trump lists administration accomplishments including building “the greatest economy in the history of the world,” “rallying the global community to stand up to China like never before,”

President Trump will depart the White House early Wednesday morning on Jan 20 and is expected to take part in a farewell ceremony at Joint Base Andrews at 8:00 am ET before boarding Air Force One for his final flight as president.

President Trump has decided to skip the Jan. 20 inauguration of his successor, Joe Biden, at the U.S. Capitol, becoming the first living U.S. president in more than a century to choose not to attend the regular exchange of power.

President Trump will instead be at his Mar-a-Lago resort as the incoming president is sworn in at noon that day.
