On May 23, Oxfam International released a report titled “Profiting from Pain” at the World Economic Forum. The report showed that during the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus pandemic, food prices soared, oil industry profits doubled, and pharmaceutical companies profited from monopolizing medical supplies and nucleic acid testing equipment. On average, a new billionaire was created every 30 hours. Ironically, at the same time, millions of people will fall into extreme poverty as a result. The CCP virus has become the culprit in widening the gap between the rich and the poor. At a time when world inflation is increasing, more than 200 million people are expected to fall into extreme poverty.
