On Tuesday (May 24th), billionaire George Soros stated that Chinese President Xi Jinping had made a series of errors that could cost him influence and jeopardise his re-election.

“Contrary to popular expectations, Xi Jinping may not get his coveted third term because of mistakes,” Soros said in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, “but even if he does, the Politburo may not give him the freedom to choose the members of the next Politburo.”

According to a speech released by Soros’ office, the legendary Hungarian-born financier criticised Xi’s “Zero-COVID” policy claiming that it had failed completely, pushing Shanghai to the brink of “open rebellion.”

“This unreasonable practise has perplexed many people, but I can explain it to you.” Soros believes that the vaccines administered to the Chinese people are “vaccines specially designed for the original variant in Wuhan,” with very little protection against the new variant. The Chinese authorities, on the other hand, “never told the Chinese people this.”

According to Soros, the consequences of the “Zero-COVID” policy will worsen. “The economic consequences of the lockdown have been disastrous, sending the Chinese economy into free fall. It began in March and will continue to gain traction until Xi Jinping changes his mind.”

However, Soros argued that policy changes would be difficult because Xi “refuses to admit mistakes.”

“In addition to the housing crisis, the damage would be severe enough to have an impact on the global economy. With supply chains disrupted, global inflation could easily become a global depression “Soros stated.

He also believes that Xi Jinping has many enemies within the CCP.

Soros also mentioned in his speech that allowing Putin to launch an unsuccessful attack on Ukraine is in China’s best interests, and that the current close relationship between China and Russia is becoming a liability for Xi.

This is not the first time Soros has made such a prediction. Soros stated at the beginning of this year, prior to the closure of Shanghai and the Russian-Ukrainian war, that the real estate crisis, the epidemic, enemies within the party, and the decline in the birth rate are all factors that are unfavourable to Xi Jinping and may prevent him from being re-elected.

According to Soros, the current world is gradually collapsing into a clash between two diametrically opposed governance systems: an open society and a closed society.

“In an open society, the role of the state is to protect individual freedom, whereas in a closed society, the role of the individual is to serve the ruler of the state,” he explained.

Soros believes that a clash between the two could jeopardise human civilization’s survival.

Commentary: The CCP and Xi Jinping have largely reached this point of peril and insanity as a result of their appeasement and cultivation of Soros and his ilk. When Soros realised that this Frankenstein was endangering their own interests and lives and began to dismantle the CCP, human civilization’s survival was assured.
