There are 59.1 million people worldwide recorded as internally displaced persons in 2021, and the figure will be higher in 2022 due to the many displaced people in war-torn Ukraine.

A joint report by the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) reported 38 million new IDPs in 2021, with some forced to flee multiple times.

The report shows that conflict-induced IDPs will surge to 14.4 million in 2021.  However, the number of internally displaced people globally will increase in 2022 above projection, mainly due to the war in Ukraine.  Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, it has caused an internal displacement of more than 8 million people in the country, and more than 6 million people have fled Ukraine as refugees.

The year 2022 looks bleak, Alexandra Bilak, director of the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, told the media.  Jan Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, agrees and warns that it has never looked worse than it does now.

On the live broadcast, Mr. Guo Wengui, the New Federal State of China (NFSC), repeatedly stated that 2022 was the darkest year for humanity.  The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is behind all these disasters, and the CCP is the source of all disasters and evil.  Therefore, the world united to destroy the CCP is a must to maintain the peace and security of humankind.
