At a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in northern Germany, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba asked the G7 to confiscate Russian property and hand them over to Ukraine to help its post-war reconstruction.
German Foreign Minister Kuleba said more work needs to be done, especially with multiple rocket launch systems to ensure that Kyiv can continue to confront Moscow. He accused Russia of blocking Ukrainian agricultural exports and called for the EU’s plan to impose broader sanctions on Russia, including an oil embargo.
G7 foreign ministers at the meeting expressed support for more aid and arms to Kyiv, a series of decisions that Germany called a sign of global solidarity and hoped Hungary would drop its opposition to the plan.
