On April 8, 2022, scientists developed a new technology to restore the youthful vitality of aging skin, according to a new report from the Babraham Institute, a partner institution at the University of Cambridge.

The new technology makes human cells 30 years younger by molecular measures, but the project has not yet been put into clinical trials. If the research is applied to other cells, it could reverse aging and revolutionize human regenerative medicine.

With the increase of age, the function of human cells degenerates, and the genetic organization gradually ages. The purpose of regenerative biology is to repair or replace old cells and restore the cell function of human beings when they are young.

Regenerative medicine is based on well-established scientific techniques, such as stem cell production techniques and molecular aging measurements.

The Nobel Prize-winning Japanese scientist Shinya Yamanaka once spent 50 days reshaping cells, but the new “transient remodeling at maturity” method only takes 13 days.

After cell remodeling, specific aging cells are removed, functional cells are restored, and skin cells are restored to their youthful state, biologically more alive and younger. “Cells can be rejuvenated without losing their function, and we’re seeing a reversal,” the graduate students concluded.

This research is significant to human genetic evolution and will bring human medical research into a new era of “rewinding time.”
