Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) secretly deleted data on the sequencing of the CCP virus gene shortly after the outbreak, the Gateway Pundit reported March 30.

The report states that the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research provided the National Institutes of Health with a report on the sequencing of the CCP virus gene in March 2020. The report was removed in its entirety shortly afterwards at the behest of Dean Francis Collins and Institute of Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci because the results supported that the virus originated from a functional enhancement research in the Wuhan laboratory.

In response, Professor Trevor Bedford of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center said: The deleted genetic sequencing data suggested that the CCP virus is not natural in its origin, but most likely came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology Laboratory, which has a long-standing collaboration with the American National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
