Since President Vladimir Putin came into power in 1999, he took over a Russia that was just about to recover from the hard times due to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, which Putin stated was the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century” (Source 1). This statement matches what Mr. Miles Guo, the founder of the New Federal State of China and leader of the Whistleblower Movement, used to say in his broadcast on December 5, 2021, that Putin’s hatred of the West is deep inside his spine. When he first took office, he promised the Russian people, “give me 20 years; I will give you back a strong Russia!” (Source 5).
Twenty-two years have passed by now; Russian indeed maintains its strong military capability, which it succeeds from the Soviet Union. However, in terms of the domestic economy, except that the central government is able to maintain the ordinary people’s subsistence, Putin does not bring what can really make Russia strong – economic prosperity, to the Russian people, and many areas and cities in Russia remain impoverished and disrepair except a handful of major cities. Readers can think about the reason behind this phenomenon.
Fast forward after 22 years, the world is now in chaos due to the Covid-19 (CCP virus) released by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and governments of various countries enforce mandate the useless yet poisonous Covid-19 vaccines. The Western world now is heavily trapped in internal troubles, facing social, economic, and political which caused by the global pandemic. Russia, being an ally with the CCP and its leader Xi Jinping, is relatively less affected by the pandemic, and now it is now a very good time for Russia’s expansion and rejuvenates the Russian empire.
Putin will definitely take this opportunity to further establish his prestige and affirm the legality as the leader of the Russian people. Russia has been heavily sanctioned by the West since 2014 in the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine Incident, causing it to suffer hugely in its economy. Putin’s supporting rate surged when he took over Crimea, which is viewed by Russians as a historical territory. Nonetheless, his supporting rate gradually declines after the act. Furthermore, the pandemic also has caused the Russian economy worsened, which was already bad before the pandemic. Therefore, in order to once again win the heart of the Russian people, there is a likely chance that Putin will invade Ukraine, which Russia sees as the “homeland of the Eastern Slavic People” (for those interested, look for: Kiev Rus)
Mr. Miles Guo said in his broadcast on January 24, 2022, Russia’s plan on attacking Ukraine is a joint cooperation with Xi Jinping of the CCP (also known as the Double-headed Eagle Operation). In the secret agreement of the two dictators, Xi and Putin reached an agreement that each of them will take action on taking over Taiwan and Ukraine, respectively; one takes the east, and one takes the West. Mr. Guo mentioned this is supposed to be a “stage show” that Putin appeases Xi that the latter continues to pump money and benefits to Russia, and at the same time, Russia’s audacity of attacking Ukraine and anger the West is the fact due to the CCP’s financial support. (Source 3)
However, there will be a likely chance that war will actually happen, given how intense the situation is on the Ukraine-Russia border. By then, Putin will adopt a strategy that will not be expected by the West that Russian troops will manage to directly take over Kiev and force Ukraine to succumb (Source 3). By then, it will be too late for the West to do anything.
Mr. Guo analyzes that Russia wants its gas pipe to Europe to be established without hindrance and demand to take over the European natural gas fuel markets so that it can largely increase its own GPD from it (of course, it is going to be the money of the European users). Putin is using this as a bargaining chip to negotiate with the U.S. and Europe in exchange for Russia not invading Ukraine (Source 4). On the other hand, if Russia successfully invades and takes over Ukraine, it will reclaim lost territories lost at the hand of the former Soviet Union era and gain a strategic advantage on the Western front despite economic sanctions by the U.S. in the next few years. It is obvious that The U.S. will NOT go to war with Russia for Ukraine, nor the European Union, as it will need Russia’s gas to survive the winter. (Source 4). Putin’s move is like a masterful chess player, as in both circumstances, he manages to maximize his gain.
The fall of Ukraine will entail a huge danger is posed on the Western side of Ukraine. Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and even Austria and Germany, will be directly exposed to Russia’s aggression. In Russian society, there are enough people who are “Pan-Slavic” who views Russia being a big brother of all Slavic nations and thus, deserve the right to rule over all Slavic countries. It will be quite possible by then for Putin to use this excuse to further expand its frontier westward to take over all these above-mentioned countries. Mr. Guo also re-affirmed this possibility in his broadcast on January 30, 2021 (Source 2 and 6). I sincerely hope this will not be the case because many of those countries have already suffered enough from communism and Soviet oppression back in the last century, and it can result in the imaginary scenes in many movies and video games; Russia occupies the European continent, become a reality.
Luckily, according to Mr.Guo’s intelligence, the U.S. has already formulated a plan that can likely prevent that happen. The West will focus on eliminating the CCP first, and then they will deal with Russia, as Russia’s confidence originates from the CCP’s financial support. Xi Jinping’s wants Taiwan so much, and he is facing serious internal troubles in Communist China and within the Party. Therefore, there is a definite chance he will attack Taiwan, and that is going to be the last nail in the coffin for the CCP.
Under this circumstance, we will continue to pay close attention to the situation in both Ukraine and Taiwan. Let us pray for the people in both places from war and destruction.
