Every year on the eve of the Chinese New Year, the problem of unpaid wages of migrant workers in Communist China would become evident.

This year, the tight capital chains of the country’s real estate companies in general have made the situation of migrant workers even more miserable, and protests of migrant workers demanding payment of wages have occurred all over the countries.

Delayed payments on projects arrears and wage by real estate developers in many parts of Communist China have led to increasingly intensive protests of contractors and migrant workers, who demand their payments that were previously promised by these companies.

On January 19, 2022, a large number of migrant workers gathered at the Jinwan District Court in Zhuhai. They were protesting the court’s malicious freezing of the restitution that belongs to the prevailed private enterprises, which result in these enterprise being on the verge of bankruptcy and unable to pay their employees’ salaries who now cannot afford to return home for the Lunar New Year.

On January 27, 2022, migrant workers went to protest in front of Jinko Group’s headquarters building in the Chongqing province’s Liangjiang New Area to protest against the company’s default in paying wages.

Recently, there were also tragic incidents in Communist China where several workers in Chaozhou Country Garden (Biguiyuan) Park threatened to jump off from a building, who demanded to be paid.

There had been news that offices of various real estate companies across the country were vandalized and besieged by migrant workers. Likewise, they want their wage back.

In Communist China, countless farmers came to the city to make a living and many of them became construction workers, and made great contributions to the development and construction of the city. However, their rights have never been properly and effectively protected under the CCP’s rule.

Only a society with sound rule of law and real democracy can protect people from infringement of their rights. The day when the New Federal State of China (NFSC) made democratic elections of “one person, one vote” comes true, it will entail the rights and interests of migrant workers are truly protected!
