On January 21st, federal judge Jeffrey Brown barred the federal government from enforcing Joe Biden ‘s executive order requiring federal workers without qualifying medical or religious exemptions to be vaccinated against the CCP virus-Covid-19.

This nationwide injunction marks the latest setback for the Biden administration’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

On January 13, the U.S. Supreme Court blocked a Biden administration’s rule that would require private companies with 100 or more employees to mandate that their employees receive the Covid-19 vaccine or be tested weekly. This provision, which was blocked by the Supreme Court, would have covered more than 84 million workers.

Judge Jeffrey Brown, who was appointed to the District Court for the Southern District of Texas by former President Donald Trump, wrote in a 20-page ruling that Biden’s executive order “amounts to a presidential mandate that all federal employees consent to vaccination against COVID-19 or lose their jobs.”

Judge Brown wrote that, Biden “with the stroke of a pen and without the input of Congress, require millions of federal employees to undergo a medical procedure as a condition of their employment.” He added, “That, under the current state of the law as just recently expressed by the Supreme Court, is a bridge too far.”

The Justice Department said it would appeal the ruling.

The lawsuit was reportedly filed by group Feds for Medical Freedom.
