A few days ago, another sandstorm shrouded Beijing. The air quality index (AQI) soared to 324, which was an extremely unhealthy level. The sky above Beijing turned completely yellow sand and was turbid. The strong wind blew sands and clouds of dust to other regions of China, affecting famous areas like Tianjin, Hebei region, Shanxi, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia.  Many other regions are susceptible to this kind of pollution during the sandstorm seasons.

According to the reports, the hourly AQI of 92 cities in Communist China once reached severe pollution levels; and the hourly concentration of PM10 in 36 cities, including Beijing and Shijiazhuang, exceeded 1000 micrograms per cubic meter/hour.

The sandstorms in Beijing and many other areas have been causing headaches to the CCP authorities for a long time. Sandstorms usually have oodles of characteristics as they sometimes hurtle with high intensity to impact substantial areas. In this time, as the CCP is being stroked by countless issues in politics, environment, economy, and diplomacy, the enigma of sand and dust hazards seems to be a quite punch to the CCP.
