President Joe Biden signed several executive orders addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic crisis, climate change and issues around racial inequities.
Sitting in the Oval Office as the 46th president, Biden signed an order that reenters the U.S. into the Paris climate accord, which former President Donald Trump had withdrawn from in 2017.
President Biden confirms Fmr. President Trump left him a note inside the Resolute desk in the Oval Office. “The president wrote a very generous letter. Because it was private, I won’t talk about it until I talk to him. But it was generous.”
Vice President Harris swears in Senators Ossoff (D-GA), Warnock (D-GA), Padilla (D-CA).
Democrats now control the White House, House and Senate.
