The municipal government placed the cities of Shi Jia Zhuang and Xingtai on lockdown on January 6th, which have a total population of more than 20 million. All personnel and vehicles were prohibited from leaving the cities.

It has been 12 days since the first reported cases on January 2nd in Shi Jia Zhuang, Hebei Province, China. The city had been reporting new cases every day ever since. The “high-risk areas” identified by the local government expanded from villages to city districts.

The local government welded the main door of the residential buildings and put a seal on it so no one in the building could get out. The government was proudly claiming that it is impossible in Western countries to lock down an area completely. Almost all residents were ordered to get tested for the CCP Virus. The government blocked road traffic and canceled weddings and funerals, and most importantly, canceled a provincial CCP meeting.

The city officials declared a “Wartime status,” in Hebei Province on January 7th, with no specific time for ending the status.

It is a pity to see that although the new restrictions have caused inconvenience to millions of people, destroyed businesses, these restrictions do not seem to arouse strong public resistance. The people of the country are so obedient to the CCP government after 70 years of brutal treatment. It can be predicted and proved that the second round of disasters caused by harsh city lockdowns similar to Wuhan will revisit China. There is a video showing the children still jumping and playing happily. However, the ignorant people who are still cheering and encouraging themselves, may not anticipate what challenges the new outbreak entails.
