As we all know, there are some highly-infectious COVID cases in northern Sydney. These recently-found new coronavirus cases in Sydney have attracted the attention of the public and government health departments. But the latest report on Christmas Eve brought us the more concerning happening in the same state. Thus, the Department of Health in New South Wales announced that virus residues have been detected in wastewater from the Central Coast. In this area, 140,000 residents in 36 communities were told to be on high alert.
Unluckily, there was a confirmed case in the area, and another case from Western Sydney had recently been to a beach in the Central Coast. On Monday, December 21, 2020, the Kincumber water treatment plant in Gosford in the same coast community detected the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, the government called on residents in the places around to be tested even if they have the slightest symptoms.
The Central Coast is a region under the state of New South Wales. It is located between the capital of Sydney and Newcastle which is the second-largest city in the state. Generally, it is divided into two parts, namely Gosford and Wyong. Estimated, it takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Sydney to get there. The coastal area has a wonderful coastal system with beautiful scenery. No doubt, it becomes a popular tourist hotspot and a leisure time paradise.
The development and spread of the epidemic are changing people’s mindset and lifestyle. In the joyful atmosphere of Christmas Eve, it is definitely not a pleasant experience to receive warning notices from the government and a call to be scanned and checked. Although the authors in this article are not in the Central Coast area, we also feel the anxiety and upset of the people in these affected regions. The virus here could be an unavoidable impact there. Whenever it happens, we deeply feel it is our responsibility to bring the truth of CCP virus to the world as Whistleblower Movement fighters. We hope everyone understands: CCP lies, all the people die.
