Warning: This story is crazy, it may be unbelievable for Americans, but it is true, Americans are only one step away from Orwellian nightmares.
According to a disclosure statement, China Daily paid the Los Angeles Times US$340,000 for advertising campaigns from May to October this year; it paid more than US$85,000 to the Wall Street Journal. The disclosure was submitted to the Ministry of Justice this week under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA).
According to reports, the Chinese company also paid US$100,000 to “Foreign Policy” magazine, US$132,046 to the Canadian Globe and Mail, and US$223,710 to the British newspaper Financial Times, all for advertising activities.
The CCP also provided a printing cost of US$1,154,666 for a number of newspaper companies, of which the Boston Globe received US$76,000, the Los Angeles Times received US$110,000, and the Houston Chronicle received US$92,000.
In the past six months, the cost for printing, distribution and advertising totaled more than US$4.4 million.
“China Daily” is supervised by its propaganda agency, the State Council Information Office of the Communist Party of China, and it has paid Western newspapers and other periodicals for many years.
“China Daily” is a newspaper controlled by the Information Office of the State Council of the Communist Party of China and its propaganda agency. For many years, it has paid for newspapers and magazines in the United States and other Western countries to publish advertisements and news articles that beautify the Communist Party. The ideology of the CCP is implanted in people’s minds alienatedly.
These Western media companies are very happy to get the money. Unfortunately, the greed and shortsightedness of the West has completely fallen into the trap of the CCP. Unlike the former Soviet regime that tried to crush the United States, the CCP completely controlled the United States by infiltrating the United States in all aspects. The most important of these is to influence American society through the purchase of media.
According to FARA disclosure documents, from the end of 2016 to October 2019, the salary of the Washington Post (WaPo) exceeded $4.6 million, while the advertiser’s income of the Wall Street Journal from 2016 to April 2020 was $6 million. . In 2020 alone, the Wall Street Journal received $461,489 in advertising revenue from the China Daily.
Therefore, it is not difficult to understand why the “Wall Street Journal” is becoming more and more like the CCP’s big foreign propaganda: the folder page “China Watch” in each issue is full of pro-Beijing lies; since the epidemic, a large number of articles have praised the so-called “anti-epidemic achievements” of the CCP; at the same time, US officials have been criticized by the Wall Street Journal for accusing the CCP as the chief culprit in spreading the virus; and President Trump’s remarks have been distorted by them. This is ridiculous.
It is time for American society to wake up. The Chinese have lived in an Orwellian country for 71 years. The CCP now hopes to extend their rule to the entire world. The annual advertising costs of several million dollars are not worth mentioning to the CCP, because they have 1.4 billion Chinese slaves to extract. The American media actually sold out their adherence to democratic and free values for the money. The most stupid thing in the world is to do business with the CCP, because the CCP will never have the concept of equality. Their worldview is that you die or die. When they took money to buy American media advertisements, their ultimate goal was to eliminate the voice of the American media.
Finally things started to change. According to the data in the FARA archives, the Wall Street Journal has not published an article on the sponsored page of the Chinese Communist Party since July this year. In August of this year, the “New York Times” quietly scrubbed the advertising website of their previous deal with the “China Daily”.
Either continue to be the CCP’s propaganda machine and be abandoned by public opinion; or completely cut off from the CCP, return to the real media, report the truth, and win the future. This is not a difficult choice.
