According to the report, Trump is considering a quick visit to Taiwan to announce diplomatic recognition of Taiwan. At the same time, the United States has also prepared an alternative plan for Vice President Pence or Secretary of State Pompeo to perform this action in place of Trump. It was said that the EU and US allies generally agree to the plan.
The report also stated that “mainland China’s ambitions are clearly aimed at capturing Taiwan and Diaoyutai”. After the occupation of Taiwan, the Chinese army further plans to occupy Diaoyutai and Okinawa Prefecture in Japan.
The report “disclosed” the White House also announced the following information:
