The year 2020 is the year of Gengzi, which is destined to be an extraordinary year.
Three years ago when I happened to encounter the Whistleblower Movement initiated by Mr. Guo, I started to follow and join in the movement. For more than three years of trials and tribulations, we finally established the New Federal State of China this year, 2020, June 4. This day is not only the beginning of a new era for the new China but also the beginning of the pursuit of dignity, freedom, and wealth for us ordinary Chinese people.
Once upon a time, I thought that a good book and a cup of fragrant green tea would be enough to keep my ears closed to what was going on outside the window. Until one day, by chance, I opened a video sent by someone else, greatly surprised, that was the first time I heard Mr. Guo, I was impressed by his courage! I began to pay attention to Mr. Guo and I became part of the silent force of the whistleblower movement. I also saw a large number of my compatriots from all over the world bravely come out to stand behind Mr. Guo, to take down the CCP, and this has become our unanimous goal. When I heard that a demonstration was to be held in Munich on 29th August, I was fortunate enough to be one of the marchers and had an unforgettable day with my fellow brothers in arms.
My fellow people came from all over Europe. We didn’t know each other. We came together, unanimously, with the single faith, worked together to prepare the demonstration in an orderly manner. On August 29th, it was raining heavily and lightly from time to time, cold and damp, very common German weather. When the surrounding was still silent, everyone was still asleep, I got up early, quietly drove to the center of Munich. After I came out of the parking lot, I ran into my fellow Chinese people one after another. A single word of “hello” meant a lot, since we recognized each other as a brother in arms, and my heart was filled with warmth.
In Odeonsplatz, the most local and culturally distinctive plaza, there were already many brothers in arms who had arrived and started organizing tables, chairs, and brochures, distributing flags and caps. Those who were active online turned into real-life people as he and she, in front of my eyes. They were so active, diligent, and ready to do his or her job. I also found my partner, a young, handsome but still fresh-faced university student studying art in Italy, who was representing the Italian Himalaya farm, who was in charge of the live broadcasting of the demonstration.
At 10 am, the event started. We were all in high spirits, obeyed the official rules, kept 1.5 meters distance, and stood in line. Gradually, the number of people on the sidewalks began to gather around, some pedestrians began to watch what we were doing and read the boards on the side of the road. Many brothers in arms on the periphery actively joined in the conversations with the local people, and the participants in the speech team and began to make speeches in good spirits, calling for justice to the live audience and the Global Himalaya Farm simulcast … I accompanied the handsome young artist with my umbrella and covered around the field, following him to interview David from England, Xiao Pi Jiang, and a few other brothers in arms…
At noon, the rain became heavier, and my hands got cold in the rain. Many of the brothers in arms did not leave the square during the lunch break, and the flag bearers were still standing firmly holding the TAKE DOWN THE CCP banner, accompanied by the music of TAKE DOWN THE CCP. Some of the brothers in arms continued to talk enthusiastically with passers-by…
The brothers in arms were combing back one after another after the lunch break and self-consciously straightened up the formation. Few brothers in arms took turns leading the grouping to shout out the slogans. Suddenly there was a small commotion in the formation, it turned out that we were live streaming with Mr. Guo, who brought his greetings and heartfelt words to us. Yet, the brothers in arms didn’t flock around impulsively but stuck to their positions to keep everything in order.
Next came the march, the brothers in arms worked unanimously, cleaned up the plaza very fast, and set off together from Odeonsplatz, via the city hall in Marienplatz, shouting all the way “TAKE DOWN THE CCP”. Our voices were high and strong. In the most crowded commercial area in Munich, many pedestrians stopped to watch. At that moment, my blood was pounding; at that moment, our thoughts were racing; at that moment, we had only one wish: to take down the CCP!
We are all ordinary, but I and my brothers in arms are all lucky. We stood up bravely this time in Munich, for our dignity, our freedom, and our fortune.
