I have been wondering where the essence of Mr. Miles Guo’s thought is. How can we, as ordinary whistleblower fighters, learn his essence? If we can keep up with Mr. Miles Guo’s pace, then there is a hope for our nation. Therefore, we have to understand him first before we can learn from him.
All of our fellow fighters can see many commendable traits from Mr. Miles Guo, but is there a common thread running through these traits? Yes, that is four words: East Soul West Skill. Miles told us that his philosophy in Pangu seven stars, including Yuda International Trade, is East Soul West Skill. What is East Soul West Skill? It’s the soul of the East, the technology and skill of the West. West skill means technology. Everyone in the world learns from the West, but few can go beyond it and very few people can combine the East and the West into one. Why? It is because the fundamental thing is the soul of East, not the skill of West. So to summarize, there are three aspects: the first one is inner mind, the second one is harmony with heaven, and the third one is harmony with heart. The essence is the three wisdoms of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in China.
What is the true wisdom of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism? Let us take Mr. Miles Guo as an example. Where is his wisdom that is harmony with heaven? The wisdom of Taoism is very profound, let’s start with three points. The first point, we should reverence nature, worship heaven and the God. Then, we should practice the way of nature, respect nature and follow the laws of the universe. Isn’t that Mr. Miles Guo? He worships the heaven and the God in every church he has been to, and he also worships the Statue of Liberty, which is called the reverence of heaven and the God, practice the way of the nature and respect nature. The second point of Taoist wisdom is three talents, including Heaven, Earth and Humanity. Confucianism only focuses on humanity, but Taoism is the wisdom that is as dynamic as water, which includes Heaven, Earth and Humanity. In terms that most people can understand is that the right person at the right time and at the right place, knowing both yourself and your counterpart to win each battle. Where can the third point of Taoist wisdom to be applied? The Art of War. Mr. Miles Guo is always ahead of the CCP, knowing exactly what moves they would make and preparing in advance to defeat the enemy. There is another particularly remarkable trait called “retirement with accomplishment”. Taking down the CCP is about to be accomplished, but he kept saying that he would not get involved in politics and he would retire with mission accomplished. It is really quite remarkable.
Taoist thought is the wisdom of existence in one’s heart. Different situations, different circumstances are like different containers. But is there a solution that works well for everything? Yes! It’s just about making your heart like water. But the inside of the vast majority of us is not water but ice! An entrepreneur, for example, who makes a lot of money by chance, then writes a book about a certain way to success. It is a model that he put his heart, which is a glass of water in the freezer and it becomes a piece of ice. But why is this model not good enough for us to use? The reason is that the shape of this ice is different from the shape of the container. So either this piece of ice doesn’t fit in the container, or it just gets tossed around, it’s not appropriate anyway. This piece of ice represents obsessions, either with success or with failure, but both are the obsessions. We need to remove all the obsessions and make our hearts as spiritual as water, which could be poured into any container so that to solve all the problems. This is the true wisdom of Taoism. If we are able to achieve this, then we have achieved the magic of “the art of war is in one’s heart”. Water has no fixed shape, but it can fit perfectly into any container.
Think about Mr. Miles, Guo, today he went to a remote and quiet place to have a meeting with senior figures, and tomorrow, he will chat with our grass-roots fellow fighters. Every day, he also manages to deal with various affairs of the businesses. How does he do it? It is because he has reached a state of mind as dynamic as water, he can perfectly fit into every container and switch freely without any obstacles, and he can make the other person very comfortable, without any feeling of being oppressed to talk to him. This was the impression and feeling I had the last time I connected with him.
