I am a Chinese citizen who is living inside the CCP’s firewall. It is a bit beyond my ability to talk about such a big topic. However, I will try my best from my limited understanding to talk about this issue. I hope specialists who could dig deeper into the topic and expose the evil intentions of the CCP and wake up hundreds of millions of compatriots inside the firewall.
For thousands of years, Chinese people have special feelings for houses. A house, not just a place to shelter from rain and wind, but a home gives you a sense of safety and belonging. As a result, almost every Chinese will try their best to buy a house.
The CCP also knows it very well. So, if they want to make any bad ideas on the ordinary people. They take the real estate as a leverage to catch the scheme.
For example, to make people poor so they could manipulate them easily. The CCP highly values the five strategies outlined in the Book of Lord Shang. One of the strategies is to deprive people of any accrued wealth. House is a great handgrip.
This is easy to achieve only by pushing house prices up to an incredible level. Citizens have to exhaust everything and borrow money around to get a house. Then, for the rest of their lives, the only thing they care about is to pay off their loans and debts, who has time to care about democracy and the rule of law?
So, the CCP began to take actions. The first step is for the government to design a situation and create an atmosphere in which people feel that the house is ‘rigid demand’, without a shelter, there is no future for both themselves and their kids.
For example, without a house, there is no household registration for children to attend school. If children couldn’t get a good education, the family won’t have a bright future. So, there is no way but to find a way to buy a house.
Another example, without a house, the mother-in-law won’t agree to marry her daughter. This is a big thing again. Without marriage, there will be no children and grandchildren, and the family will not have a future. So, there is no way but to find a way to buy a house.
However, to buy a house needs a lot of money. Many families are exhausted with “six wallets”, which means in order to make a down payment, have to use up savings from the couple’s parents and the couple.
Of course, this is too easy for the government to deal with it! News, newspapers, the Internet, and the media preaching every day that real estate is the backbone of the country, the state cannot let house prices fall, will only let house prices rise. So, buy a house early with no regrets.
Next, the government “helped” with seemingly helpful policies. The most common method is the so-called “mortgage payment”. As long as the people pay 30% of the house price, or even less, the rest of the price, the government’s bank will lend to the people who can slowly pay back the money to the bank.
Basically, only by taking the above two steps, the vast majority of the people have already entered into the trap.
Take an example from the small southern town where I am living. The loan can be up to 20 or even 30 years, and the interest on the loan is about 5% per year.
A general shelter costs 1.5 million could exhaust ‘six wallets’ to make up the first payment of 500,000, and then borrow 1 million from the bank, the interest in a year is 50,000. The income is about 60,000 to 70,000 annually, removing all kinds of living expenses, a year’s net remaining estimate is 20,000. In order to pay off the mortgage, at least two or three family members are needed. In the next 20 or 30 years, they have to work around the clock and economise food and clothing. The exhausted people in China can only concentrate on their livelihood that they have no chance to chase their freedom. Thus, the goal of making people poor achieved perfectly, and ordinary people have become a real ‘house slave’.
The people inside the firewall are still too naive. They do not know they are in the trap and believe the government slogan ‘housing for living not for real estate speculation’ will crackdown on housing prices, and every ordinary people could afford to buy a house. It could be achieved easily if the government really wants to make it affordable. For example, they can learn something from the Singapore government who built many public housing and rented to the ordinary people at a very low price. As a result, the rigid demand for a house will become less, and housing prices will naturally come down. Besides, the government can make a policy that any child can go to local schools, whether they have a house or not so that housing price and the demand will fall dramatically. Also, the government could regulate the housing price for resale, which cannot be higher than 5% of the original purchase price. Otherwise, more tax should be paid so that house prices would not go crazy.
But do you think the Government will do something like this? Of course not, because this is a trap carefully arranged by the government for the purpose that it can turn the ordinary people into “house slaves”. The common people are completely under the control of the CCP. On the other hand, the CCP could earn a lot of money three generations’ hardworking of a family. The wickedness of the CCP is way beyond recording and the way they compress and grind down the ordinary people are crude and inhumane.
