On August 24, 2020, researchers in Hong Kong reported the first officially confirmed case of Covid-19 reinfection, a 33-year-old man who was first infected by SARS-CoV-2 in late March, 2020, and four and a half months later, seemingly contracted the virus again after traveling in Spain.
Hong Kong University scientists discovered that the genome of the COVID-19 virus, aka SARS-CoV-2, in his first infection is closely related to the strains collected in USA and England during the spring, while the one from his second infection is related to the strains circulating around Europe in late summer.
What does COVID-19 reinfection tell us?
More than one strain of COVID-19 is circulating in the world. So far scientists have found more than a dozen different strains of COVID-19 affecting people.
1. Herd immunity is non effective
Coronavirus, like the flu, is RNA virus which is more prone to mutations compared with a DNA virus such as smallpox. Moreover, experts have found that immunity to COVID-19 would not last long, i.e. only a few months, especially for the old population. Therefore, herd immunity becomes meaningless because people can easily be re-infected by the same strain of virus because of expired immunity or different strains of COVID-19 virus as this Hong Kong man.
2. Effective vaccines are extremely unlikely
According to top coronavirus virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan, designated WHO investigator for coronavirus outbreak in China in December 2020, COVID-19 virus is engineered from a PLA lab, and the Chinese Communist Party has not uploaded the entire genome sequence of COVID-19 to the world genome bank. Therefore, the world still does not have a good understanding of this virus. Any vaccines based on the incomplete genome sequence of COVID-19 will likely be ineffective.
Dr. Yan explained further, in a TV interview in War Room Pandemic Episode 366 on September 3, 2020, that the COVID-19 vaccine from China has a potentially lethal ADE effect which is triggered when the vaccine receiver gets infected by COVID-19 virus.
Renowned Italian Biotechnology scientist Giuseppe Tritto has also confirmed in his book, The chimera that changed the world, published in Aug. 2020 that the COVID-19 is from Wuhan lab and the vaccine is extremely unlikely due to the nefarious nature and multiple strains of the virus.
Nobel laureate Dr. Luc Montagnier gained global recognition in 2008 for his research on HIV virus and AIDS. Montagnier is convinced that the COVID-19 is “man-made”, “produced by a laboratory” and “contained sequences of the HIV virus (AIDS virus).
So far there is no vaccine for SARS and HIV/AIDS, therefore the prospect of a vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 which contains at least SARS and HIV is not promising.
If the prospect of a COVID-19 vaccine is unoptimistic, and the chance of infection is high and the consequence is severe, therefore the best approach is prevention.
What can we do to protect ourselves?
1. Physical Protection
Keep social distance, wear face masks and PPEs, and keep good personal hygiene habits such as frequent hand wash etc.
2. Medical Prevention and Treatment
Overwhelming data from credible research institutions and 500+ prominent doctors have proven that Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a safe anti-malaria drug with over 65+ years history, is very effective in COVID-19 prevention and early treatment.
New York physician Dr. Vladimir Zelenko has demonstrated the efficacy of HCQ through his own medical practice. He combined HCQ with Zinc supplement and an antibiotic called azithromycin as an early treatment protocol and reported zero death from his 1600+ COVID-19 patients so far. Due to the unavailability of HCQ, Dr. Zelenko also recommends Quercetin, a nutritional supplement, to be taken with Zinc supplement to increase its absorption.
Henry Ford Health System’s HCQ trial has shown that HCQ can reduce the fatality rate by 50%.
Epidemiologist Dr. Harvy Risch of Yale School of Public Health stated in TV interviews that “…75,000 to 100,000 lives would be saved,” if the drug was used widely and perhaps as a prophylactic, preventative manner.
Statistics show that countries using Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) have a significant lower fatality rate.
3. Government action to end the pandemic
We should urge the government around the world to
- approve HCQ for COVID-19 prophylaxis and treatment
- make HCQ over the counter for easy access
- hold Chinese Communist Party accountable for sending the world with the COVID-19 virus and prevent it from happening again.
