First Arrest Under National Security Law

July 1st afternoon, a civilian was arrested due to a flag pertaining to Hong Kong Independence was found on him by the police, resulting in the first arrest under the new National Security Law.

According to Stand News, the flag was found in the man’s belonging only. The man did not unfurl the flag.
