Rule of Law Foundation Rescuing New Federal State of China Members In Cyprus

According to GETTR on January 11, Cyprus media reported that the CCP fabricated evidence demanding that Cyprus extradite a mother and son. The Rule of Law Foundation helped start a lawsuit against this action, taking every effort to rescue the New Federal State of China members. The mother and son being persecuted by the CCP had obtained golden passports in Cyprus. They were arrested in December on investment fraud charges in connection with financial crimes under investigation in China. The two were detained on an Interpol Red Notice, and the CCP requested their return to China.

According to daily Politis, the Justice and Interior Ministries of the Republic of Cyprus have received letters from the Rule of Law Foundation, describing the mother and son as members of the New Federal State of China, whose legal team argued that this is politically-motivated persecution. The financial fraud charges were purely fabricated by the CCP. Currently, the extradition process of the mother and son duo is paused and they are detained in Cyprus waiting for the court to adjudicate on the extradition request.

The Rule of Law Foundation, an organization that aims to “protect individuals speaking out against corruption and illegal activities in China”, is supported by the official agents in the United States. Some analysts believe that this report is actually a way for Cyprus officials to use the media to reject the Chinese Communist Party persecuting members of the New Federal State of China.
