According to Japan [TBS News], on January 13, the U.S. government imposed sanctions on six North Koreans, one Russian and a Russian company, for smuggling essentials from Russia and China to North Korea for weapon developments.
All six North Koreas work for North Korea’s weapons development sector. They are allegedly involved in procuring communication equipment and chemicals for mass destructive weapon and ballistic missile developments.
Sources from the U.S. government said: “the sanction took place after North Korea launched six ballistic missiles since last September and the recent missile launches proved that North Korea has always continued the prohibited weapon development.”
