Illinois Governor Defers COVID Vaccine Mandate until End of November After Unions Revolt

According to the Gateway Pundit report on October 18, Illinois Governor Pritzker deferred COVID Vaccine Mandate for employees of veterans’ homes, prisons and other congregate facilities until the end of November after unions revolted.

Illinois Governor Pritzker, who in August set an Oct. 4 deadline for state workers covered by his COVID vaccination requirement, said on Friday that employees have an extension to be fully vaccinated by Nov. 30. The workers are employed by the departments of Corrections, Veterans Affairs, Human Services and Juvenile Justice.
