In a story by CNA on October 22nd, 2021, it says that Confrontations over Xinjiang between China and mostly Western countries, including the United States, UK, and Australia have become a regular occurrence at both the UN General Assembly in New York and the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. This has sparked an angry response from China’s UN envoy, and like little spoilt schoolboys, they shout “lies still lies” when all of the world know what they are doing in Xinjiang, an autonomous territory in northwest China.

Communist China is heavily embedded in the UN making it difficult if not impossible for a fair and honest conversation about human rights or rather the lack of them in the Xinjiang region of China. In a statement which was read by French UN Ambassador Nicolas de Rivière to the General Assembly rights committee, 43 countries voiced concern about increasing “reports of widespread and systematic human rights violations,” accusing China of detaining more than 1 million people, including the Uyghur Muslims in camps in northwest China, in particular in Xinjiang.
