In a report by Zero Hedge on October 19th, 2021, it talks about the monopoly Communist China has on the world magnesium market, as China produces around 85% of all the magnesium in the world today. Magnesium is a very important material for car production as it is used as a hardening agent in the process of making aluminium billets.
China has recently slowed production to around 70% because of on-going problems with power shortages, this has obviously had a massive effect on the global car industry. Germany’s non-ferrous metal trade association, warned: “It is expected that the current magnesium reserves in Germany and throughout Europe will be exhausted in a few weeks at the end of November 2021 at the latest, yet again Communist China finds itself in a good position as it controls the magnesium production and the car industry globally depends on it, which is never ideal knowing what the Communist regime is capable of.
