The legitimate role of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is supposed to represent the country’s interest, express the country’s official position, and issue passports and visas. However, it also performs two essential functions.
Firstly, it serves as the intelligence agency outside of China. The officials of the foreign ministry are the corresponding intelligence officers. Secondly, the embassies are equivalent to the territory of China, where they exercise their diplomatic rights while carrying out smuggling, drug trafficking, kidnapping, and other illegal activities.
The CCP’s Ministry of Intelligence consists mainly of the Ministry of State Security, its Second and Third Departments, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as its overseas extension. The CCP’s Political and Legal Committee, Ministry of Public Security, and Ministry of Security place their personnel inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and manage them directly.
