HK Police Arrest District Councilor Lam Kin-Cheung and his assistant

March 21, many Hong Kong people gathered in memorial of Yuen Long 821 attack. But Hong Kong police’s brutality continues.

In the evening in Yuen Long, a riot police officer was seen shouting, “This area is only for reporters reporting, NOT for district councillors reporting!”

Police proceeded on to deploy pepper spray right in the face of Ng King Wai, district councillor of Tin Shui Wai.

Meanwhile, Lam Kin Cheung, district councillor of Tuen Mun, was pulled into a cordoned area by the police, together with his assistant, as he was recording the ongoings.

Among the 9 people intercepted, 8 were arrested. The only one released turned out to be the district councillor of Yuen Long, Lam Chun.
