Has the Justice Department Been Weaponized Against Election Audits?

Himalaya Toronto Maple Leaf Farm, Liberté

Do we trust Attorney General Merrick Garland, a Biden appointee? Do we trust the Justice Department? When Garland says that “the US Justice Department will scrutinize post-election audits for evidence of voting violations” – should we believe them? Does he mean voting violations perpetrated by election fraudsters during the November 3, 2020 election, or does he mean voting violations by those trying to determine if there was voting fraud?

This is the same Justice Department that did NOTHING after the November 3, 2020 election even though hundreds of irregularities were reported, under oath, by eye witnesses and poll watchers. This is the same Justice Department that announced on May 6, 2021 that the Arizona audit could be in violation of federal voting and civil rights laws.

The Justice Department has NO interest in upholding the integrity of elections if it means fraud was perpetrated against Republican votes, but it will dig up any excuse to manufacture reasons to claim irregularities if Democrat votes are in jeopardy – no matter if they were fraudulently cast votes.

One of the claims by the deputy assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, Pamela Karlan, was that the Audit scope of work includes a canvass to “identify voter registrations that did not make sense”, and to knock on doors to confirm if valid voters actually live at the stated address. This, Karlan says, could constitute “voter intimidation”.

Of course, this is nonsense. Verifying whether people could be living at an abandoned building, an empty lot, a post office box, or a Government building, does not involve any confidential information about how a person (or persons) voted.

The real crime is that the Justice Department has been fully politicized and weaponized by the Democratic Party to do the bidding of the establishment and hide, at all costs, the fraud perpetrated during the Nov 3, 2020 election.

Arizona Rep Mark Finchem, who was the leading force behind getting the audit approved through the Arizona Senate said: “These guys are a clown show, they want to intrude in an area that is exclusively state’s jurisdiction to manage, but they couldn’t be bothered when we called on them for action before the audit.” Finchem added, “Maybe AG Garland would like to engage in the prosecutions that should arise from quite possibly the biggest racketeering case in American history? [2]

Arizona Rep. Wendy Rogers also responded forcefully: “If Attorney General Merrick Garland thinks he has a right to our ballots and machines he should go to court. If he uses force when multiple courts have already authorized this audit he will be in violation of the law.” Rogers added, “Lawless thugs is all they will be! [2]

Josh Barnett, who ran for U.S. House in Arizona in 2020 and has alleged voter fraud since November 3, wrote, “#WeThePeople will not allow [the Department of Justice] to touch our forensic audit. All political power is inherent in the PEOPLE.” Barnett added, “The people hold all the power, not a legislator. AZ Constitution Art 2, Sec 2. Interfere with the people’s business, then [you’re] breaking your Oath to the people you work for. [2]

The Democratic Republic of the United States is facing the biggest threat since its founding, and partisan weaponization of the Justice Department is a highly dangerous development. The infiltration of the Chinese Communist Party into the top levels of the US Government and administration can now only be thwarted by the free States of the Union. This is the reason the founders and authors of the Constitution allocated the authority over elections and audits to the States. The future of the free world literally hangs in the balance. These disputes will ultimately be decided in the Supreme Court. Given how SCOTUS behaved towards legal challenges which were brought during the election, we are skeptical about the outcome.
