On May 7, a TV station in Sichuan province, China reported the detailed schemes used by two Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials to enrich themselves financially. Both Jun Guo, the Party Secretary of Ning Nan County, and his brother Yong Guo, the Party Secretary of the Sichuan Railway Investment Group were arrested in 2020 for corruption and embezzlement.
The brothers used their powerful positions as the party secretaries in the government and the state-owned company to solicit illegal contracts and award such contracts to those who would have either paid upfront or provided kickbacks. Over the years they were in power, the brothers took bribes and received gifts for 9.3 million of Chinese Renminbi (RMB), about 1.5 million USD.
Is this an isolated incident in the ruling party? The answer is a resounding “no!” The scope, the severity, and the extensiveness of corruption in the CCP are beyond the imaginations of ordinary people. Let me give you a few examples to illustrate my point. Yongkang Zhou, a member of the standing committee of the politburo, was arrested in 2014 for taking bribes and abuse of power. It was reported that he took over 130 million RMB, about 20 million USD. Mr. Zhou is now serving a life sentence. Ironically, Mr. Zhou was the highest CCP official in charge of law enforcement and public security. Another disgraced CCP official was Boxiong Guo. He was the Vice-Chairman of the CCP’s Military Committee and a member of the powerful politburo. Guo was arrested in 2016 for corruption and bribery. He was given a life sentence for allegedly taking over more than 30 million USD in bribes. More than 200 party officials at the provincial or ministry level were either jailed or disciplined over the last few years.
One may ask why corruption in China is so ubiquitous and rampant. The answer is very simple: It is because the CCP holds unchecked, absolute, and authoritarian power. The CCP not only uses its power to brainwash and rule Chinese people but also enrich themselves financially at the same time!
On the one hand, the CCP is telling the Chinese people to work hard and contribute to society. On the other hand, the family members of the ruling CCP officials have migrated to the west. They use the stolen wealth from the Chinese people to purchase fancy houses and expensive vehicles and live luxurious lives.
The ultimate ambition of the CCP is to dominate the world. They are using their propaganda machines and their money to influence western governments, think tanks, financial institutions, and universities to advance their interests. Unfortunately, many in the west, politicians, and average folks have not realized the threat from the CCP. It is time to see through the smokes and reveal the true evil nature of the CCP. To prevent the world from the disaster of communism, the only solution is to take down the CCP!
